  • Our loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend went to live with her heavenly Father the morning of October 22, 2012. Bobbie was born January 18, 1948, and grew up at the base of Mt. Rainier in Eatonville, Wash., where she will be laid to rest.
In the early 1970s Bobbie made her home in Medford, Ore. where she raised her boys and began her career in real estate. Bobby was very devoted to community service and participated in many volunteer activities, including painting for "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" and bell ringing during the holidays for the Salvation Army.
As a greeter at Table Rock Fellowship, Bobbie formed lasting relationships with her brothers and sisters in Christ with whom she will one day be reunited in Heaven. Bobbie's interests included sewing crafts, traveling, and playing golf. She was also an avid participant in the Earth Angels Foundation, and had achieved the status of Lifetime Million Dollar Club member in real estate.
She is survived by her parents, Clifford and Hazel McCarty, of Eatonville, Wash.; sons, Jared (Charity) Ross of Bozeman, Mont. and Joel Ross, of Medford; grandson, Oliver Ross; granddaughters, Jael and Ashley Ross; brother, Bill (Cathy) McCarty, of LaCenter, Wash.; and nephews, Clifford and Todd McCarty.
The family would like to give a special "Thank You!" to hospice for their gentleness and attentiveness toward Bobbie and family. Also to John L. Scott Medford for their generosity and time spent preparing and delivering meals to the family, and for the visits that brought joy and comfort to Bobbie.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 27, 10:00 a.m. at Table Rock Fellowship, 3610 N. Pacific Hwy. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Asante Hospice, 2960 Doctors Park Dr., Medford, OR 97504. Arrangements are with Perl Funeral Home.
