Carr's late-game heroics again lift Raiders

CALDWELL, Idaho — For the third time this season, Stephanie Carr found the net in overtime to give Southern Oregon an overtime victory as the Raiders picked up a key, 1-0 Cascade Collegiate Conference decision over College of Idaho Friday.

The Raiders (9-5-2, 5-2-1 CCC) moved one step closer to a conference tournament berth with 16 points. SOU closes out the regular season at Eastern Oregon Sunday.

Carr scored her 13th goal of the season and her sixth game-winner in the 98th minute. The SOU career goal leader had a one-on-one shot blocked by the C of I goalkeeper, and Carr took the rebound and sent it into the open net to clinch the win.
