In loving memory of the greatest loss our family has ever known. David Crandell, 53, passed away peacefully in his sleep at home unexpectedly August 14, 2012.
He was a good Christian man who loved the Lord and sought after God's own heart. He attended Applegate Christian Fellowship. He loved to talk to everyone, no matter who it was, about anything and everything possible you could think of.
He loved to make others laugh and even made jokes about himself. He was always happy, positive, energetic, and forgiving of others. He was a great husband, father, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle, and a great friend to many people here in the Rogue Valley and Grants Pass.
He loved to spend time with his family and three sons. He loved to fish with his boys, read the Bible and listen to Christian music in his car, work, and home.
Most of all, he loved spending all the time he could with his loving wife, Melissa, known to David as, "Missy." She was the love of his life, his rock, best friend, and soulmate for eternity. They were both inseparable and truly loved and enjoyed each other passionately. They were married 11 years and not one day or moment went by that David didn't tell Missy how much he loved her. He called her on his cell phone several times a day, texted her little love messages, and held her in his arms as if there were no tomorrow.
He is survived by his wife, Missy Crandell; oldest son, Kyle Crandell aka "Speed Ball"; middle stepson, Jarred Even aka "Jar Head"; youngest son, Daddy's Boy Jacob Robert Crandell aka "Tiger"; mother-in-law, Debby Wimer aka "Mom or Blondie"; father-in-law, Bob Wimer, his best friend and "boss." David worked for Wimer Enterprises as a printer and manager for several years with Bob Wimer, his buddy.
Also included in his family are brother-in-law, Joey Scheppler (aka Joe) and his wife, Jessica Bettencourt, aka Jessy Baby Girl, and their son, Tristan Scheppler (Uncle Dave was his magic man); brother-in-law, Jeremy Hunnicutt aka "bro" and wife, Chandra aka "Channie Lee"; sister-in-law, Alisha Hunnicutt aka "Sis", whom he prayed for everyday; nephew, Dylan Hunnicutt aka Dill; niece, Stephanie Hunnicutt aka "Stephanieee"; Grandma Anne and Grandpa "Geno" Valley.
All your family and friends will greatly miss your laughter, your uplifting spirit, your funny personality, your love, and warm embracing hugs to all of us every time we saw you! We know you are in Heaven, David, talking your head off to everyone - that's just you. We know you no other way. David, we love you so very much, and you will always be in our hearts and never forgotten. How could we? LOL.
Love, all your family for eternity.
