Medford police said they have located and spoken to four people in a surveillance video that shows them standing outside Howiee's the night of cab driver Huey Huson's murder.
The surveillance video, posted on the Mail Tribune website Tuesday afternoon, shows people standing outside around the time Huson picked up his last fare. The video yielded several phone calls to Medford police in a few hours.
All subjects have been identified and are no longer considered persons of interest. Police still believe there are more witnesses at several nearby restaurants and bars on North Front Street who may have seen something the evening of Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012.
Huson's cab company lost radio contact with him after he picked up a fare at the downtown bar and reported him missing at 1:02 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 21. Huson's cab was located at Ninth and Almond streets four hours later. Huson's body was found in a field off Helo Way near Vilas Road. He had been shot.
A possible suspect in the murder is described as a white male with fair complexion and a pockmarked face, 25 to 35 years old, about 6 feet inches tall, and weighing 170 to 190 pounds.
