Felony arrests

  • Theft — Jaimey Scott Faber, 19, of the 1400 block of South Obenchain Road, Eagle Point. Medford police Friday arrested Faber on four charges of first-degree theft. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $25,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Tasha Nicole Thatcher, 21, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Thatcher on charges of possession of methamphetamine and interfering with a peace officer. She was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Martin Antonio Ramirez, 29, of the 500 block of Alice Street, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Ramirez on charges of felon in possession of a weapon, delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a school and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Jesse Garrett Edwards, 30, no known address. Medford police Friday arrested Edwards on charges of possession of methamphetamine, providing false information to a police officer, first-degree theft and second-degree theft. He was lodged in jail on $55,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Jessie Ray Carden, 19, of the 600 block of Columbus Avenue, Medford. Medford police Friday arrested Carden on a charge of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Sex Abuse — Jeffrey Scott Bettman, 54, of the 1800 block of Camp Baker Road, Medford. High Tech Crimes Task Force Friday arrested Bettman on 10 counts of second-degree encouraging child sex abuse, 10 counts of first-degree encouraging child sex abuse, and 10 counts of invasion of personal privacy. He was lodged in jail on $390,000 bail.
