  • Jacqueline Holbrook, 89, of Central Point, Ore. passed away Friday, October 26, 2012, at Providence Medford Medical Center. She was born March 23, 1923, in Augusta, Kans. to LaVera and George McBee. She moved to Medford, Ore. in 1936.
    Jackie married her high school sweetheart, Warren Holbrook, September 15, 1945, in Harlingen, Texas.
    She worked as a teller at U.S. National Bank for eight years and as an aide at Mae Richardson Elementary School in Central Point for 23 years.
    Jackie enjoyed traveling with her husband Warren, knitting, reading, and was an avid bridge player.
    She is survived by her daughter, Nancy and her son, Ron, both of Central Point; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Warren Holbrook; her parents; and her brother, Gene McBee.
    As per her wishes a private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Jackie touched many lives and will be greatly missed.
