Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Kaitlynn Marie McShank, 21, no known address. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Monday arrested McShank on charges of possession of methamphetamine. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Jacquelyn Marlene Depriest, 24, of the 1100 block of Stevens Street, Medford. Medford police Tuesday arrested Depriest on charges of possession of methamphetamine, third-degree theft and first-degree trespassing, and for failure to appear on two previous charges of third-degree theft. She was lodged in jail on $20,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Marco Antonio Avina, 27, of the 8000 block of Ivy Street, White City. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Tuesday arrested Avina on charges of possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear on two previous possession of methamphetamine charges and for suspicion of being in the country illegally. He was lodged in jail and released on his own recognizance.
  • Drugs — Ian Henry Brooks, 30, of the 2500 block of Ashwood Court, Medford. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Brooks on charges of possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $5,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Richard Wayne Swinger, 40, of the first block of Meadow Lane, Shady Cove. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Swinger on a charge of possession of methamphetamine and for failure to appear on previous charges of possession of marijuana, and traffic offenses. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Identity theft, drugs — John David Lewis, 26, of the 14000 block of Highway 234, Gold Hill. Medford police Wednesday arrested Lewis on charges of identity theft, second-degree theft, fraudulent use of a credit card and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $23,000 bail.
  • Drugs — Mark Allen Atkins, 37, no known address. Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement officers Wednesday arrested Atkins on charges of manufacturing, possession and distribution of methamphetamine and possession and distribution of marijuana. He was lodged in jail on $545,000 bail.
  • Burglary, identity theft — Richard Anthony Aguiar, 32, no known address. Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement officers Wednesday arrested Aguiar on charges of first-degree burglary, first-degree theft, unlawful entry into a motor vehicle and two counts of identity theft. He was lodged in jail on $39,000 bail.
