  • Chris Loeffler has joined 5 o'clock Marketing Group as its Internet marketing manager.
    Loeffler is a former brand and social marketing manager at Guitar Center's Harmony Central. Loeffler brings professional experience in project management, as well as content and search optimization, social media strategy with brand and marketing programs, sustainable online promotion and branding campaigns. He also speaks Spanish, having earned a bachelor's degree in Spanish literature with a minor in Spanish cultural studies.
    In addition to Guitar Center's Harmony Central, Loeffler has worked at Musician's Friend, Naumes Fruit and Harry & David.
    As brand and social marketing manager at Harmony Central, he created and generated content for weekly e-newsletters, co-branding marketing campaigns with the commerce brands, and consulting merchandisers and commerce marketing on market trends and content opportunities for the commerce brands.

    Law firm Hecht & Norman has added Meng Ouyang to its staff as an associate attorney. She obtained her law degree from the University of Oregon in 2010 and worked as a law clerk for Judge Charles Carlson at the Lane County Circuit Court for two years. She also earned master's degrees in chemistry and computer science from the University of Oregon and is a registered patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Ouyang handles immigration law and intellectual property cases, and will be focusing on patent and trademark procurement, as well as client counseling.

    Jerry Herbold has been named team leader of the newly formed Southern Oregon commercial banking team for Home Federal Bank. Herbold has more than 16 years of banking experience focused in commercial lending, branch management and business development. A graduate of Northwest Commercial Lending School, Herbold has held leadership positions with the Central Point Chamber of Commerce and Central Point Little League.
    Casey Stewart, previously a branch manager for the Grants Pass South Branch, will join Herbold as commercial relationship manager for the Southern Oregon commercial banking team. Stewart has more than nine years of experience in the financial industry. He earned a bachelor's degree in business management from Brigham Young University in Rexburg, Idaho, as well as an MBA from Southern Oregon University.
    Jennifer Miller has been named assistant commercial relationship manager for the Southern Oregon commercial banking team. Miller has been a Home Federal Bank team member since 1996 and has experience in commercial banking, as well as construction and development lending. She is a graduate of the Commercial Lending Institute.
    Jodi MacDonald has been promoted to Southern Oregon market manager for Home Federal Bank. She also is the manager of both Grants Pass branches. A graduate of the Western Commercial Lending School, MacDonald is a veteran banker with more than 29 years of experience in Grants Pass. She is president of the Rogue Gateway Rotary Club.
    Reid Bastian has been promoted to branch manager at the Medford North Branch. Bastian joined Home Federal Bank in 2002 and has held several positions, including personal banker and commercial banking officer. A graduate of the OBA/WBA Commercial Lending School, Bastian has been involved with the community through Junior Achievement and the Medford Planning Commission.
