  • Explore the history of the soldiers known as “jungleers” in a documentary premiering at 5 p.m. in the Spiegelberg Building, Medford School District Education Center, Medford Central High School
    “Jungleers in Battle” is a 67-minute film about the U.S. Army's 41st Division in the jungles of New Guinea and the Philippines during World War II.
    Admission to the showing is $10. Proceeds will benefit the Historical Outreach Foundation, a nonprofit group dedicated to preserving Oregon history. See www.historicaloutreach.com for details.
