Felony arrests

  • Drugs — Jacob Lee Niemeyer, 25, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Niemeyer on charges of possession of methamphetamine and probation violation for possession of marijuana. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $10,000 bail.
  • Theft — Frank Eugene Stegeman, 50, of the 600 block of North Third Street, Central Point. Rogue River police Saturday arrested Stegeman on a charge of identity theft. He was lodged in jail without bail.
  • Drugs — Anthony James Winsbury, 26, of the 22,000 block of Highway 62, Trail. Medford police Saturday arrested Winsbury on charges of possession of methamphetamine, first-degree criminal mischief, felon in possession of a weapon, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, providing false information to a police officer, a probation violation for possession of methamphetamine, and failure to appear on charges of attempting to elude police, driving while suspended, endangering, six counts of second-degree forgery and possession of methamphetamine. He was lodged in jail on $88,000 bail.
  • Theft — Justin Carl Fakes, 30, of the 1300 block of Corona Street, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Fakes on charges of first-degree theft, second-degree animal negligence and probation violation for second-degree robbery. He was lodged in jail without bail.
