1921 - 2012

Margaret left this world to be with her beloved husband, Sam, and to walk in eternity with Jesus on November 3, 2012. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Margaret was easy to talk to and always had an ear to listen. She walks today renewed and whole with all of those who have gone before her.

Margaret, a Missouri native, moved to the Rogue Valley from Virginia with her husband, Sam, in 1985. Margaret loved people, her family, and expecially children. Ten years of her life was spent teaching kindergarten. This time was always viewed as the highlight of her working years.

Margaret loved to sew, knit, make things for friends and family, and expecially enjoyed Christmas. The highlight of her life was her grandson Nate. She would light up whenever he entered the room.

Margaret is survived by her son, Tom Suttle (Cindy); grandson, Nate Suttle; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank Dr. Bruce VanZee, Dr. Douglas Hecox, their staff, the caregivers of Fountain Plaza, and the members of the Providence Hospice team, whose love and care made Margaret's last days and hours peaceful. Margaret will be laid to rest alongside her husband at the V.A. National Cemetery in Eagle Point. There will be a short memorial service at Fountain Plaza Sunday, November 18, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Oregon Talking Book and Braille Services.
