Beloved husband of Juanita Handy Kelsch and loving father of Marc, Kathy and Carol Kelsch passed away at home Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the age of 86.
He was born in Buffalo, NY, April 15, 1926. As a young boy, he lived on Angel Island in San Francisco Bay and San Diego, Calif. A long-time resident of Medford, he worked as the city printer for 17 years and then had his own printing business for over 30 years.
He joined the Army Transport system in 1943; and was a veteran of WWII. Bob traveled all over the world, loving the sea and ships. He was an avid history and geography buff.
Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years; three children of Medford; one nephew, Anthony Bowser, of Fernley, Nev.; and two nieces, Nancy Kenyon, of Medford, and Karen Kelsch, of San Rafael. Calif. He was preceded in death by his parents, Col. George E. and Laura Kelsch; sisters, Ida Kenny and Edith Bowser; and brother, George E. Kelsch III.
