Medford claims Pop Warner title

EUGENE — The Medford White Raiders sixth grade Pop Warner football team polished off an undefeated season by defeating the Junction City Jaguars 32-12 to take the Pop Warner Junior Midget Championship on Sunday at Autzen Stadium.

The White Raiders (9-0) halted what would have been three straight undefeated seasons for the Jags, who also won Pop Warner championships as fourth- and fifth-graders.

Brison Breeze scored two touchdowns for the White Raiders, who received excellent defensive efforts from Trent DeBoer and Elias Spence.

DeBoer, who also caught a touchdown, had two interceptions and helped limit the Jags to 12 points. The White Raiders had only allowed 20 points all season prior to the championship game.
