Felony arrests

• Vehicle theft — Derrick Kenyatta Stokes, 22, no known address. Medford police Tuesday arrested Stokes on charges of unlawful use of a motor vehicle and possession of a stolen vehicle. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $5,000 bail.
• Drugs — Benjamin David Jackman, 27, of the 4700 block of Columbus Drive, Redding, Calif. Jackman appeared Wednesday in Jackson County Circuit Court on an indictment charging him with possession of heroin. He was booked into jail and released.
• Weapon — Roy Vincent Vance, 42, of the 3700 block of Springbrook Road, Medford. Medford police Wednesday arrested Vance on a charge of being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail and released after posting bail.
• Assault — Raul Ramirez-Morrelos, 26, of the 2500 block of Avenue A, White City. A Jackson County sheriff's deputy Wednesday arrested Ramirez-Morrelos on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, harassment and strangulation. He was lodged in jail on $13,000 bail.
• Weapon — Jeanette Mary Hayes, 41, no known address. Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement, or MADGE, officers Wednesday arrested Hayes on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and carrying a prohibited weapon. She was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.
• Weapon — Erlindo Manuel Nunez, 23, of the 1000 block of Court Street, Medford. MADGE officers Wednesday arrested Nunez on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and carrying a prohibited weapon. He was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.
• Weapon — Gideon Christopher Rayburn, 32, of the 500 block of Edwards Street, Medford. MADGE officers Wednesday arrested Rayburn on charges of being a felon in possession of a weapon and carrying a prohibited weapon. He was lodged in jail on $15,000 bail.
