Ashland police chief mum about Grubbs investigation, search results

Ashland Police Chief Terry Holderness declined to say whether police found any evidence linked to the murder of David Grubbs while serving three search warrants in Ashland and Talent Wednesday.

"We're not arresting anybody that lives at any of those residences," Holderness said.

He said police have served about six similar warrants during the course of the Grubbs investigation.

No suspect has been named.

"My concern is that neighbors are going to be worried about whether the people that live in those houses were involved in something they weren't," he said.

Search teams have returned to the Rapp Road property today to continue their work.
