Senior outside hitter Shelby Minor of Ashland was named the most valuable player in Southern Oregon Hybrid Class 5A volleyball.
The league has two teams, Ashland and Eagle Point.
Joining Minor on the first team as hitters were senior middle blocker Taylor Bidwell of Eagle Point and junior middle blocker Madeline Wallace of Ashland.
First-team defensive players were senior Phoebe Challman of Ashland and junior Brianna Shopp of Eagle Point. Sophomore Jordan Tilley of Ashland made it as setter.

MEDFORD ALL-STARS — Two Medford boy players and one girl received all-league recognition in Southern Conference all-star voting by coaches.
Seniors Reid Gibson and Calvin Buchholz were second-team selections for the boys. Anne Walker, a senior, received honor mention on the girls team.
