    Oregon State Police have released the name of a Glendale man killed in a motor vehicle accident today.
    William Allen Furia, 33, lost control of his 1997 GMC Sonoma for an unknown reason while heading northbound on Interstate 5. No one else was hurt in the crash.
    The cause is still under investigation.

    A motor vehicle crash that killed a 33-year-old man this morning on Interstate 5 near Glendale is still under investigation by Oregon State Police, according to a news release.
    The man's name and town of residence have not yet been released pending notification of family. No one else was in the vehicle.
    Police said the crash occurred near milepost 79. A motorist heading northbound saw a 1997 GMC Sonoma down an embankment at 7:30 a.m.
    A preliminary investigation showed the driver lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason, traveled off the road and over the guardrail before coming to rest next to a large tree about 100 feet down a steep embankment.
    Emergency officials pronounced the man dead at the scene.
    The exact time of the crash has not yet been confirmed.
