  • UPDATED: One flight cancellation reported because of fog

    The arrival of Alaska Airlines flight 2483 into the Medford Airport has been canceled due to fog in the Rogue Valley, Alaska Airlines officials said. The flight was due in at 9 a.m. today but returned to the Portland airport.
    Alaska Airlines officials said the passengers will be put on later flights, one leaving Portland at 12:30 p.m., the other at 5:25 p.m.

    Medford Airport officials say the morning fog hasn't had an effect on flights.
    Airport director Bern Case said no flights have been delayed due to limited visibility caused by the fog.
    National Weather Service officials said the fog is expected to burn off by noon. A high temperature of 55 degrees is expected for today.
