Clothing swap supports help for teens

Phoenix High School will host a clothing swap from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 at the school's commons, 745 N. Rose St., Phoenix.

The event costs $5 per person to attend, bring clothes and swap them with others. Funds raised from the event go to support local non-profit organizations that work to reduce teen pregnancy, bullying and substance abuse at the school.

Those issues were declared major problems at the school by a statewide survey called Community 101, which was issued to students to be filled out.
