  • People's Bank of Commerce has named Debbie Claiborne branch manager in Central Point and Jamie Brindle as branch manager of its 1311 E. Barnett Road office in Medford. Additionally, Genie Gilliam, who previously served as the bank's Central Point branch manager, now is serving as branch manager for the Biddle Road location in Medford.

  • People's Bank of Commerce has named Debbie Claiborne branch manager in Central Point and Jamie Brindle as branch manager of its 1311 E. Barnett Road office in Medford. Additionally, Genie Gilliam, who previously served as the bank's Central Point branch manager, now is serving as branch manager for the Biddle Road location in Medford.
    Claiborne has more than 30 years of banking experience and most recently served as branch manager for South Valley Bank and Trust's Hillcrest Park location. Over the years, Claiborne has served in various capacities at financial institutions in the Rogue Valley, ranging from banking operations to commercial lending.
    Claiborne serves on the board of directors for Junior Achievement, or JA, and also teaches the JA curriculum in the public schools, and is on the leadership board for the Children's Miracle Network with Asante. She recently was involved with Southern Oregon Financial Fraud and Security Team and is a past treasurer for Women's Council of Realtors in Southern Oregon.
    Brindle previously was at Wells Fargo Bank and has more than 15 years of financial experience. She most recently served as the bank's market support consultant for the Southern Oregon area. Brindle also was a store manager, service manager and personal banker for Wells Fargo.
    She is a board member for SOFFAST and worked as a United Way loaned officer and on United Way's Day of Caring, ACCESS food bank, Odell Lions Club and Mid Valley Site Council.
    Gilliam has been with People's Bank for four years, most recently as the branch manager for the Central Point branch and formerly as a commercial loan officer and manager of the People's Bank's Small Business Loan Department. She is a board member for the Medford Rogue Rotary Club, local council president for SMART and board director for the Medford Senior Center.

    Regina Vaccari has been named marketing director at Ledger David Cellars in Central Point, while Robert Trottmann now is the tasting room and wine club manager.
    Vaccari most recently was marketing coordinator for the Southern Oregon Winery Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree from the University of Nevada, with an emphasis in public relations.
    Trottmann brings 30 years of business experience, holding both a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Colorado and a master's from Colorado State University. Trottmann previously was the general manager of Weisinger's of Ashland Winery and Vineyards.

    The Oregon Community Foundation has named Armando Lopez as Latino Partnership Program coordinator for Southern Oregon. Lopez will support Latino leadership in Jackson, Josephine, Klamath and Lake counties. The organization encourages Latinos to become more integrated and influential in their communities.
    Lopez works with DL Reforestation Inc. and previously was associate director of admissions at Southern Oregon University, where he earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and Spanish. He will be introduced at an open house from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 6, at the Oregon Community Foundation's Medford office, 818 W. Eighth St.

    U.S. Cellular has named Kathleen Sheeran field marketing manager for the company's Oregon and California markets. Sheeran will oversee regional and corporate marketing efforts, implementing marketing and distribution plans. She now is based in Medford after spending a year with the company in Chicago as a sponsorship and events manager. Sheeran is a member of FEMA's Community Emergency Response Team.
