Carney leads South past Crater

Preston Carney scored five goals and had an assist to lead the South Medford hockey team to its second Southern Oregon League victory, 10-7 over Crater at The RRRink Friday.

Ryan Lund added three goals and an assist and Cy Jensen two goals and three assists for the Panthers. Terrence Cheeseboro added two assists.

In its season opener, Crater got six goals from Dustin Gomez and another from JR Keyser.
