Briana Carol Chapnick, 33, passed away September 29, 2012. Bri was born in Crescent City, Calif. June 29, 1979, to Dick and Charlene Jurgens.
Bri lived in Brookings, Ore. until she was four years old. She then moved to Medford. She attended school at Westminster Presbyterian Preschool, Roosevelt and Hoover Elementary, Hedrick Jr. High and South Medford High. Throughout school she was an excellent student and received many awards. In jr. high she was awarded a trip to Portland State University to attend a weekend writing conference for a short story she had written. She had a talent for expressing thoughts and emotions into words and on occasion throughout the years we were blessed by her words on paper.
BJ loved and excelled in music. She had a gift for being able to pick up any instrument and play it. She played the violin in grade school, the flute in jr. high and high school both in the orchestra and marching bands. But most of all, she loved her grand piano on which she played a wide variety of music. Her favorites were the classical works of Beethoven, Schubert, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.
Bri also had a talent for art. She painted pictures for her relatives and for her homes.
She loved lively conversations about everything, but especially about politics, books, and movies.
Bri was married twice to her first husband, Jesse, and then most recently she wed her present husband, Aaron, whom she worked with on his online business. She loved them both wholeheartedly.
Bri had a vulnerable spirit and was a beautiful women. She is and will be greatly missed.
