Rogues will play 33 home games

The Medford Rogues announced their summer wood-bat baseball schedule Thursday, showing 33 home games and 54 West Coast League contests.

The Rogues will play at least three preseason games prior to a June 5 home opener against Bellingham, the team's first official WCL game.

The WCL South Division rival Klamath Falls Gems will host the Rogues at Kiger Stadium on Friday, May 31, then both teams will travel to Harry & David Field for the second game of the set on June 1.

Three days later, the Rogues will play the American Legion Medford Mustangs in a contest to help raise funds for the Mustangs program.

The home season ends Aug. 10 against the Central Oregon Bucks.

Planned promotional dates include a July 3 fireworks show, free admission for kids 12 and under on Wednesdays and "Thirsty" Thursdays. There will also be promotional giveaways at Saturday home games and "Family Fun" Sundays.

Season tickets can be purchased by calling the Rogues at 541-973-2883. Single-game tickets will go on sale on or about April 15.
