The Ashland Independent Film Festival will hold two special screenings of its 2012 Rogue Creamery Audience Award-winning documentary "Ethel" at 5:30 and 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at SouthGate Cinema in Grants Pass.
Rory Kennedy, the film's director and the 11th child of Robert and Ethel Kennedy, will participate in a live question-and-answer session via Skype immediately following each screening. This will be the first AIFF screening in Grants Pass.
Proceeds benefit the nonprofit Ashland Independent Film Festival, thanks to sponsor Coming Attractions Theatres. Tickets are available at catheatres.com or at the SouthGate Cinema box office. Tickets are $8.50, $6.50 for seniors, students and AIFF members.
