Paul R. Potts

Paul R. Potts, of Medford, Ore. passed away in his sleep Thursday, December 6, 2012. Paul was born in Columbus, Ind. August 26, 1922, to Paris and Sula Mae Potts. In 1951, he married Joyce, his wife of 61 years. Paul spent 20 years in the U.S. Navy, and then worked as a civil servant for the Navy for 16½ years.

 

He was preceeded in death by his parents; only sister, Esther; and infant son, Douglas. Survivors include his wife, Joyce; son, Stan, and wife, Lani; son, Greg, and wife, Cathy; son, David, and daughter, Janet; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

 

For the past two years, he resided at Horton Plaza. A memorial service for Paul will be held Thursday, December 13, 2012, 1:00 p.m. at Horton Plaza, 1122 Spring St., Medford.
