Warren Varner Ball, 92, of Medford, Ore. passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012, at the Good Shepherd Guest Home in Medford.

Warren was born October 8, 1920, in Seligman, Mo. He served his country in the U. S. Army in Germany in the 1st Infantry Division under General George S. Patton.

He worked as a heavy-duty truck mechanic and driver.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Lorraine, of Medford; two daughters, Floraine Johnson, of Myrtle Point, Ore. and Dottie Havlick, of Scappoose, Ore.; one son, Alvin Butch Ball, of Yakima, Wash.; ten grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mountain View Cemetery, 440 Normal Ave. Ashland, Ore. Pastor Bob Gass of Harvest Baptist Temple will officiate. Arrangements by Litwiller-Simonsen Funeral Home, Ashland, Ore. www.litwillersimonsen.com
