  • The Ashland Historic Railroad Museum will present a talk at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in the Ashland library's Gresham Room on the 125th anniversary of Ashland's Golden Spike being driven in.
    Ashland Railroad historian Larry Mullaly will present the talk, "The Story of Ashland's Golden Spike Part 1: Oregon Builds the South."
    In the talk, Mullaly will discuss the man responsible for the largest part of the Oregon rail line, Ben Holladay.
    The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be provided.
