Two men are in the Jackson County Jail after police found more than a pound and a half of methamphetamine and $915 in cash during an ongoing investigation.
Martin Miguel Hernandez-Villalobos, 43, was arrested Dec. 6 on charges of possession and delivery of methamphetamine, and he remains in jail on $25,000 bail, jail records show. Juan Carlos Garnico-Cisneros, 30, was arrested Tuesday on the same charges and is in jail on $20,000 bail.
The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team served a search warrant on Dec. 6 at a home in the 100 block of South Stage Road, just south of Medford. During that search, police seized a 1/4 pound of crystal methamphetamine. Hernandez-Villalobos was arrested.
Police returned to the home Tuesday, Dec. 11 and arrested Garnico-Cisneros after finding another pound of meth and $915 in cash, which police allege is from drug sales. His truck was also impounded.
On Wednesday, investigators got a warrant and searched the truck, finding another five ounces of meth hidden in a secret compartment.
Police said the investigation is continuing.
