Felony arrests

• Drugs — Valerie Valine Vargas, 28, of the 2200 block of Temple Drive, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Vargas on charges of possession of methamphetamine and a parole violation. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail without bail.
• Robbery — Austin Jared Saunders, 18, of the 900 block of Ross Lane, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Saunders on charges of second-degree robbery and possession of drugs near a school. He was lodged in jail on more than $1 million bail.
• Robbery — Jacob Randall Granger, 21, of the 1400 block of Whitman Avenue, Medford. Medford police Saturday arrested Granger on charges of second-degree robbery, possession of drugs near a school, reckless endangering, harassment and possession of marijuana. He was lodged in jail without bail.
• Weapon — Abdul Hackim III, 29, of the 200 block of East Oak Street, Jacksonville. Medford police Saturday arrested Hackim on charges of possession of drugs near a school and being a felon in possession of a weapon. He was lodged in jail without bail.
• Drugs — Bernie George Helms II, 22, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Helms on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of heroin and three counts of failure to appear in court. He was lodged in jail on $161,000 bail.
