  • MERLIN — Kenzie Schmoll led three players in double figures with a game-high 20 points as North Valley took down Cascade Christian 50-40 in a nonconference affair at North Valley High on Monday.

  • MERLIN — Kenzie Schmoll led three players in double figures with a game-high 20 points as North Valley took down Cascade Christian 50-40 in a nonconference affair at North Valley High on Monday.
    Schmoll provided the Knights (4-4) four rebounds and four assists as well.
    Lexi Pittman and Mikala Mohr both cranked out solid all-around games for North Valley.
    Pittman gave the Knights 10 points, seven boards, four assists and four steals and Mohr went for 10 points, nine rebounds, three assists and three steals.
    Michelle Kinney generated 11 points, four rebounds and four assists to pace the Challengers (3-3) and Stephanie Croy hauled in 11 rebounds to go with eight points and five steals.
    Cascade Christian also picked up six points and six boards from Kelly Bales.

    EAGLE POINT 70, DEL NORTE 65 — At Crescent City, Calif., Eagle Point senior post Casie Johnson turned in 23 points and knocked down key free throws late in the nonleague game.
    Sydney May scored 21 points and Adrienne Wood added 16 points for the Eagles (6-1), who used a timely steal by Kayla Nielsen and four free-throw makes by Johnson in the final two minutes to seal the victory.
    Eagle Point sank nine 3-pointers, with Wood (four), May (three) and Bailey Cooper (two) doing the damage from beyond the arc.

    • CASCADE CHRISTIAN 76, ROGUE VALLEY ADVENTIST 66 — Rogue Valley Adventist gave Cascade Christian a tough test, but David Sellers' 23 points put the Challengers over the top.
    Also for the Challengers (3-1), Cody Coggins, Alex Miller and Aaron Cesaro tallied 12 points apiece.
    Caleb Allen poured in a game-high 27 points and grabbed seven rebounds for the Red Tail Hawks (5-1) and Micah Neufeld added 19 points and four boards. Jonathan Alvarez pitched in 12 points.
