  • Highway 230 will remain closed at least until Wednesday, Dec. 26, because trees have fallen on the roadway, Oregon Department of Transportation officials said.
ODOT reported that numerous trees were down on the first 23 miles of Highway 230. Officials closed the highway Sunday at its junction with Highway 62.
Crews worked to clear the trees Monday and made "a lot of progress," but there is still more to do, officials said. There is no detour in place while the highway is closed, so drivers should seek alternate routes. Highway 62 is open.
