Kathryn MacMillan Dieter

Kathryn was born March 26, 1922 to Hugh A. MacMillan and Alta M. Sherman MacMillan in Lincoln, Ill. She grew up in Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota and graduated Michigan State University with a degree in medical biology. She worked as a medical laboratory technologist in hospitals in Michigan, New Jersey, Ohio, and Illinois and in physicians offices in California.

 

On July 1, 1951, she married Bruce R. Dieter in Midland, Mich. They lived in Michigan and Illinois and moved to southern California in 1963, Grants Pass, Ore. in 1989, and Medford in 1993. She was a member of the Neighborhood Church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Medford.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Sally Lynn Dieter; and her son, Christopher M. Dieter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce in 1997; and her daughter, Nancy Susan Dieter in 1961.


Interment for Kathryn is Monday, December 31, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
