Erline Bernice Robson

Erline Robson, 90, passed away December 21, 2012, at her home in Medford, Ore. A memorial service will be held December 29, 2012, at 2:00 p.m., at the United Methodist Church, 607 W. Main St., Medford. Pastor John Tucker will be officiating. She will be buried at Hillcrest Memorial.

 

Erline was born March 9, 1922 at Old Sacred Heart Hospital in Medford, Ore., to Ruth Marie (Combs) Edmonds and Lawrence Edward Edmonds. She was part of a Southern Oregon pioneer family and lived in Medford all her life. She attended school through the 11th grade.

 

In 1939 she married Ben Conley, and then married Ken Hatfield in 1951. Erline was wed to George A. Robson in 1962. She was a practical nurse and homemaker who enjoyed puzzles and was a member of United Methodist Women.


She had two sons, Melvin Lee Conley (predeceased), and Ken Leroy Hatfield; four daughters, Sharon Louise Conley (predeceased), Martha Joan (Conley) Cline, Louise (Hatfield) Vincent, and Marlene Kay (Conley) Cox; three predeceased sisters, Marion (Edmonds) Hamilton, Thelma (Edmonds) Holman, and Diane (Edmonds); and one predeceased brother, Harold Edmonds. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
