Felony arrests
- Assault, coercion — Shane Allen Hutchinson, 26, no known address. Medford police Saturday arrested Hutchinson on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault, reckless driving, coercion, possession of drugs near a school, harassment and three counts of reckless endangering. He was lodged in the Jackson County Jail on $35,000 bail.
- Drugs — Gerald Lee Ellis, 53, of the 500 block of South Oakdale Avenue, Medford. Ashland police Saturday arrested Ellis on charges of possession of methamphetamine and second-degree trespassing. He was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
- Drugs — Devan Jay Wheeler, 23, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Saturday arrested Wheeler on charges of delivery of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and a probation violation. He was lodged in jail without bail.
