Bill L. Bartley, 80, of Medford, Ore. passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Providence Medford Medical Center. He was born to William Franklin and Ida Bell (Cotham) Bartley September 20, 1932, in Ripley County, Missouri.

He married Bernice in Crescent City, Calif. November 25, 1994, and they moved to Central Point, Ore. in 2003. Bill was a rancher, self-taught in business, farming, ranching, carpentry and plumbing. He loved his family, friends, livestock, gardening, carpentry and volunteering. He a supporter of the FFA, Farm Bureau and was a church trustee.

Bill is survived by his wife, Bernice, of Central Point, Ore; sons, Dwaine Bartley, of Selma, Ore., Greg Bartley, of Dickenson, N.D., and Curt Bartley, of Ft. Dick, Calif.; daughters, Carolyn Martin, of Homosassa, Fla,, Theresa Vaughn, of Lafe, Ark., Joanna Dority, of Belton, Mo., and sister, Joyce Stoffer, of Joplin, Mo.; step-children, Michael Serna, of Ontario, Calif., Alex Serna, of Crescent City, Judy Swier, of Detroit Lakes, Minn., and Paula Ortiz, of Central Point; 25 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jeff Bartley; and three sisters.

There will be a viewing on Friday, January 4, 2013, from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Ore. A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 5, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Mortuary Chapel. Pastor Larry Read of New Life Community Church will officiate.
