Betty Jean (Lamb) Krahmer, of Medford, Ore. passed away January 1, 2013. She was born January 7, 1933, in Oklahoma City, Okla. to parents Roy and Mary Webb. Betty was married for 38 years to Bernard Lamb; and then to Leonard Krahmer for 10 years.

 

Betty was a member of Grace Church of Central Point and lived at Alderwood Assisted Living, Central Point. She had the voice of an angel and loved to sing. She was a longtime member of the Sweet Adelines and sang in numerous quartets and choruses. She loved to read, quilt, and sew. She was a Master Gardener and was never happier than when she was working in her garden with husband, Leonard, at their home in Washington.


Betty is survived by children, Susan (Jan) Peterson, Penny (Walter) Sokolowski, Gary (Tammi) Lamb, and Jeannie (John) Baker; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Webb, and Lyman (Beverly) Webb. She was preceded in death by sisters, Lucille, LaVeta, Arlene, Mary Ellen, and Violet; brother, Ollie; and husband, Leonard Krahmer.


Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Church of Central Point or the Diabetes Foundation. Conger-Morris Central Point Chapel handled arrangements.
