    • Drugs — Gretchen Wren King, 32, of the 600 block of West Jackson Street, Medford, Medford police Monday arrested King on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance near a school and for failing to appear on two pending drug charges. She was lodged in the Jackson County Jail and released because of overcrowding.
    • Identity theft — Tommie Elizabeth Dewett, 61, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Dewett on four counts of identity theft, two counts each of first-degree forgery, first-degree theft, second-degree theft, and 10 counts of being a fugitive wanted in Texas. She was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Burglary — James Phillip Hoffman, 53, of the 700 block of Mendolia Way, Central Point. Central Point police Monday arrested Hoffman on charges of first-degree burglary and menacing. He was lodged in jail on $100,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Todd Erick Gurthet, 33, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Gurthet on charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession of contraband and driving under the influence of intoxicants. He was lodged in jail on $19,000 bail.
    • Drugs — Abdur Rashid Ali-Woods, 51, of the 1200 block of Mt. Pitt Street, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Ali-Woods on charges of possession of methamphetamine, hit-and-run driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, reckless driving and for violating the conditions of his parole on a previous robbery conviction. He was lodged in jail without bail.
    • Assault — Nathan Robert Miller, 36, no known address. Jackson County sheriff's deputies Monday arrested Miller on charges of felony fourth-degree assault, fourth-degree assault and harassment. He was lodged in jail on $12,000 bail.
    • Identity theft — Jerusha Holmes, 38, of the 900 block of Grant Avenue, Medford. Medford police Monday arrested Holmes on charges of identity theft, credit-card fraud and second-degree theft. She was lodged in jail and released because of overcrowding.
    Crime reports
    Theft — 2700 block of Lawrence Avenue, Medford. Medford police took a report at 7:49 a.m. Monday of the theft of a tool box, a DVD player, DVDs and boots from a vehicle. The loss was valued at $1,310.
