Friday, Jan. 11 — Aurelia Saxophone Quartet was founded by four musicians from the Netherlands. This chamber-music ensemble performs preludes, fugues and more by Johann Sebastian Bach, Dmitri Shostakovich, Maarten van Norden, Astor Piazzolla and other composers.

Aurelia Saxophone Quartet was founded by four musicians from the Netherlands. This chamber-music ensemble performs preludes, fugues and more by Johann Sebastian Bach, Dmitri Shostakovich, Maarten van Norden, Astor Piazzolla and other composers.

The quartet will perform at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, in the Music Recital Hall on the Southern Oregon University campus, 1250 Siskiyou Blvd., Ashland. The concert will be preceded by a discussion and performance at 12:30 p.m. in the music hall. The next day, Jan. 12, the quartet will host master classes, performances, coaching and more.
