The 10th edition of the Southern Oregon Business Conference is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 24, at the Red Lion in Medford.
Speakers for the event include University of Oregon economist Tim Duy, who will summarize the region's economic trends and make projections specific to Jackson and Josephine counties; and Foote Consulting Group's Russ Ullinger, a national site selection expert who will compare this to other regions in the nation, reviewing strengths and weaknesses. His expert evaluation is intended to help the region be competitive on a national scale as it continues to seek appropriate outside businesses for relocation to Southern Oregon.
The event runs from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by a reception. The cost is $45 for Southern Oregon Regional Economic Development members and $60 for nonmembers.
