Wesley Leo Moore, 49, of Butte Falls, Ore., passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 in Spokane, Wash. with family by his side.


A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Butte Falls Community Bible Church, 319 Broad St., Butte Falls, OR 97522. Buff Lawrence officiating.


Wesley was born May 17, 1963 in Medford, Ore. to Bill and Diane Moore; they later divorced. He graduated Butte Falls High School in 1983.

Wesley was married to Sherri Brown and later divorced. They had two sons, Christopher and Michael Moore.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn, of Spokane, Wash.; children, Christopher and Michael Moore, of Eagle Point, Ore.; two stepdaughters, Brandi Morris and Bobbie (Sam) Lassiter, of Spokane, Wash.; six grandchildren, Macy, Kyleigh, Ryan, and Jakob Moore, of Eagle Point, Ore., and Robert and Stephanie Lassiter, of Spokane, Wash.; brothers, David (Kristine) Moore, of Spokane, Wash. and Bobby (Bridgitte) Moore, of Medford, Ore.; sisters, Sandi Moore McCoin, Nancy Moore Corum, and Kathy (Brent) Tripp, all of Spokane, Wash.; several nieces and nephews; and his parents, Bill Moore, of Butte Falls, Ore. and Diane (Randy) Tharp, of Eagle Point, Ore.

He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Ellen and his grandparents, Ben and Marjory Moore.

Wesley was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and outdoor photography. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
