Learn how to start your own family tree on Saturday

Learn the basics of starting a family genealogy project from scratch at a free class from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, at the Jackson County Genealogy Library, 3405 S. Pacific Highway, Medford.

Charlene Brown will teach the basics of starting a family tree and the fundamentals of genealogy. No computer skills or knowledge are needed. Bring a pencil and paper.
