“Pompadour,” a new play by Ashland playwright Molly Best Tinsley, will premiere at 8 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 19 and 26 and Feb. 2, and 2 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 20 and 27 and Feb. 3, at the Ashland Community Center, 59 Winburn Way, Ashland.
Jeannine Grizzard stars as Madame de Pompadour, a woman who became the titled mistress of French King Louis XV. Peggy Rubin of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival directs.
