The annual William Stafford Birthday Celebration will be at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Southern Oregon University's Hannon Library's Meese Meeting Room.
The event, hosted by the Friends of the Hannon Library, celebrates the late Oregon Poet Laureate's birthday. Composer Todd Barton, poet Linda Barnes and several other featured poets will perform.
The event is free and open to the public. Attendees are invited to bring a William Stafford poem to read if they wish. Free parking will be available in the lot behind the Hannon Library.
