  • Former North Medford High standout and current Oregon Tech junior Karissa Dixon has been named Cascade Collegiate Conference women's basketball Player of the Week after helping OIT move into second place in the conference standings.
    Dixon made 11-of-17 from the field, including 8-of-12 from 3-point range, and 7-of-9 from the foul line to score 37 points in wins over Northwest University and The Evergreen State College.
    She also had 13 rebounds, eight assists and a blocked shot without a turnover.
    OIT begins the second half of conference play 7-2 and is at Eastern Oregon and The College of Idaho this weekend.
