A day of service planned by Southern Oregon University will give students a chance to improve their job prospects and build skills through volunteerism.

The program, which lasts from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, will include a resume workshop, interview skills conversation and volunteer shifts at Ashland organizations.
