Dorothy Icenhower (nee, Smith) was born in Crowder, Okla. October 16, 1923. Dorothy passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 15, 2013 surrounded by loved ones.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Maude and Andrew Smith; husband, Chester Icenhower; and beloved brothers, Dan, Jack, and Johnny.

She is survived by her four children, Judy (Glenn) Farley, of Medford, Ore., Dale (Cindy) Icehower, of Washington, Gary (Karen) Icenhower, of White City, Ore., and Mike (Eileen) Icenhower, of Central Point, Ore.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy and Chester were married 50 years before his death. She retired from Providence Hospital after 22 years. She loved to make quilts, bowling and making people laugh. Most of all, she loved spending time with her amazing family.

Funeral services will be held at Memory Gardens Mortuary, 1395 Arnold Lane, Medford, Ore. at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 18, 2013. Pastor Dick Bull of Eagle Point Community Bible Church officiating.
