  • An effort aimed at encouraging Southern Oregonians to support local businesses is set for Saturday, Jan. 19.
Southern Oregon Cash Mobs will identify local businesses that need help surviving in the current economy, then ask area residents to patronize those businesses. The first Cash Mob will be at Bobbio's Central Point Pizza, 313 Oak St., from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. The pizza restaurant is owned by a Central Point family.
