SPRINGFIELD - It is with great sadness that the family of Sharon Louise (Trautman) Jeskey announce her passing January 17, 2013.
She is survived by her mother, Delores (Jim) Shehorn of Central Point, Ore.; sisters, Rose (Jim) Kaufman of Albany, Ore. and Teresa (Frank) Wood of Central Point, Ore.; daughter, Karen Des and her partner Mary Goetz of Battle Ground, Wash.; sons, Kevin (Debby) Jeskey of Woodstock, Ga. and Keith (Marlo) Jeskey of Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren, Sarah, Alex, Jordyn, Paige, Griffin, and Ayden; and two great-grandchildren, Penelope and Juliette (due February 6).
A native of southern Oregon, starting life in Medford, Ore., Sharon moved to Eugene in 2012. Sharon attended Central Point schools graduating in 1961. Sharon worked for the Central Point School District, Northwest Retirement, and ComNet. She was an avid supporter of her children's sports and school activities.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father, Fred (Fritz) George Trautman; brother, Raymond Gene Trautman; and daughter-in-law, Allison Jeskey.
Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her for her stunning smile, sense of humor, a loving grandmother (Grammy), and her kind and caring nature. Sharon was a nationally recognized Princess House consultant and rewarded with many Carnival Cruises for her outstanding sales records. She also enjoyed reading, puzzles, dominoes, Scrabble, and most card games.
A celebration of Sharon's life will be January 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Conger-Morris Chapel, 800 South Front Street, Central Point, Ore. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Sharon's memory to either the American Liver Foundation, P.O.
