Truckload of food helps ACCESS

The owners of Sherm's Thunderbird and Food 4 Less grocery outlets will deliver about 23,000 pounds of food in a semi-trailer to the ACCESS Food Share warehouse at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 25.

Every year since 2000 the Olsrud family has donated an entire trailer full of food. Officials said the donation helps the agency serve the hungry in Jackson County.

"The Olsruds are wonderful partners of ACCESS, and they are making a very real difference in the lives of people in need," ACCESS Executive Director Jackie Schad said in a news release.
