RCC plans forums on racial diversity

Rogue Community College will have two conversation forums on racial diversity at its Medford and Grants Pass campuses Jan. 29. Both events are free and open to the public.

The first session will be held 10 a.m. to noon at the RCC/SOU Higher Education Center, room no. 127/129, 101 S. Bartlett St., Medford. The RCC Redwood Campus will host the second session from to 2 to 4 p.m. at 3345 Redwood Highway, Grants Pass.

Both programs will feature Emily Drew, ethnic studies associate professor at Willamette University. The talks will focus on what racial integration requires, along with thoughtful dialogue on diversity and race.
